This car charger worked well the first few times I used it. However, after about the fourth use, I noticed that it no longer charges my phone. I connected another car charger that I used before and found that it doesn't charge my phone through the same port. I have 5 charging ports in my car. This way I was able to connect Eleckey to a different port and it worked fine. A few days after the first port stopped working, the second port I connected to the Eleckey car charger stopped working. In fact, I checked all 5 ports and none worked! Since my car is only a few years old, my charging ports suddenly stopped working. Upon further investigation, I found that this adapter had blown two different fuses; 20A fuse and 15A fuse if you try to use them on different connectors. Fortunately, I already knew something about fuses and how to change them. I also have a backup plan for my car. I have a BMW 750 and I don't even want to think about how much more damage this car charger can do to my car. Just be warned if you use this car charger and find that your car socket or cigarette lighter has stopped working - it is probably related to this car charger.
