Looks good but not practical

I spontaneously bought this UHE-WM130 on sale at Bed, Bath and Beyond. It has some features that I think are great: warm or cool mist, digital display, demineralization cartridges included. Here's what I've learned from the past 60 days of use: Notice the top is kinky? This means that the tank will not lay flat when filling. There is a notch to remove the tank from the unit, but if you turn it upside down to fill you won't be able to use the hand notch to stabilize it. The tank slipped and spilled many times until I learned to choke it. So zero stars for the ease of filling the tank if you have small hands or arthritis. I have this humidifier on a waterproof tray because if you pick up the tank it will drip until you turn it upside down. And not a drop or two, but many drops. Have an absorbent towel handy when removing the empty tank and replacing the full tank. I thought the demineralization cartridge was for hard water (although my old TaoTronics humidifier doesn't produce white dust). So I put ammo in each tank. When the first tank ran out my husband and I woke up thinking someone was walking around our house! Just rattled sleeves at the bottom of the tank. When does the water level in the first tank drop? At midnight. It then switches to the second tank and crashes at around 5:30 am. So I took out the cartridges. I was stupid enough to buy it on the spur of the moment while we were travelling. We don't have a local shop so I have to drive 2 hours back to return it and we don't travel due to Covid. There are way better humidifiers out there than this one.
