I bought these for a cheeky photo shoot and they fit me perfectly. It took a bit of work to get them out of my combed hair, that's for sure. I wouldn't use them at any normal event, they would look ridiculous on me, but that was the point. I would also say they work better on people with thicker hair, I've only tried using a small one to backcomb and the handles stuck out at the top even following the directions. I attribute this to thinner hair. Although it sucks, they should give you a voluminous look without the bulky hair type. They might work for you, they just need a little practice.
