The only reason it got a 4 is because it doesn't play all the sounds. We use it as the only sound for our TV. We are hard of hearing and also use a signature. There are times when a signature marks a sound that we cannot hear. Not sure if you would use it as a speaker you would hear the tones specified. However, it definitely projects the TV sound very well. We turn on the TV sound almost to the maximum, sometimes 60-100. We never go over 20-25 on the soundbar. Perfect for what we use it for. Tyvm!
