Review on πŸ‘• MagicPro Portable Garment Steamer: Say Goodbye to Wrinkles with Fast Heat and Auto Off Feature by Travis Coffman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ideal for light and thin fabrics!

I recently received this item and it works very well on light weight fabrics and is less effective on cotton or linen. It removes 100% of most wrinkles on polyester, viscose, thin modal and silk. On light, fine cotton, it irons out large creases but leaves micro-creases - just enough to be buffed without crunching in the dry-cleaner. SILK: excellent 5/5 stars. Even though it gives off so much steam, you have to wait a few minutes for it to dry on a hanger because if you put it down it will immediately shrink. I've steamed several silk dresses and crepe de chine tops. It takes 2-3 minutes to steam a long silk dress, 1 minute to steam a silk blouse. I can steam 5-7+ things with 1 filler. COTTON: Removes large creases, but the fabric does not crunch. It looks like it's fresh out of the dryer, but not as crispy as when it was dry cleaned or ironed. You can easily use a 1/2 or 3/4 tank on a men's shirt or long dress. You can make 1-2 products in one dressing. I tried it on a sheer cotton voile top and shirt. It took longer to go through the segments. This is a personal choice between folding and straining. For effort versus ironing, I'd probably go for a steam iron, but the results aren't as good. Linen - again similar to cotton. It will never make your product crispy. It simply removes the main pleats to look casually presentable. I would probably prefer ironing here. As others have said, I've doubled my wardrobe because I can finally wear things I was too lazy to iron before work. MARVELOUS. ***Hope this lasts as other reviews have had concerns about durability and rusting. I will update if these problems arise.
