Protective film is not hard; It's like the movie that appears on your phone when you first get it. Easy to use. I often carry my phone in my pocket; I don't know if this is the reason why the film eventually warps at the edges or forms small bubbles at the edges of the screen. Luckily there are 2 packs so if this occurs you can simply apply a new screen protector. But I'm still deducting stars from the rating because this happened with both packages I bought.
