Crashed after first use. The lid is attached to the kettle with very cheap plastic notches and is spring loaded so when you push the button on top the lid opens. I keep it right; The lid flew off and landed on my wrist, splashing hot water all over me. Luckily after warming up it stayed for about ten minutes before I got back on it so the water wasn't as hot as it could have been. It was clearly a defective block but as the lid is arranged I don't know. Trust the replacement to last, if possible just spend the extra ten bucks on a better device
