Not really a hands-free phone, but a speaker and microphone that can be wirelessly connected via a DECT 6 adapter. The device is very well made and stays in place. very significant. You can turn off the sound during use. The other interlocutor says I am understandable and easy to understand. The device can also act as a PC speaker and actually sounds pretty good. Although there is a battery option, I couldn't find the battery online. However, if the power goes out, your computer and/or internet will also go down, so I think that's a moot point. In general I am satisfied with the device and for its price it works well.
