I bought this to use on my 2018 Subaru Forester. It didn't work right out of the box. I have three cigarette lighter sockets in my car and none of them worked. I even tried two different USB charging cables with my iPhone. Of course, my first guess should have been that the LED wasn't lit. Another thing is that it doesn't sit flush in the cigarette lighter socket. That's very disappointing. Later that morning I decided to give it another try before posting this review. I put it in the socket and rotated it a few times to see if I could get it to sit more evenly. Well, low, and then the blue LED flickered and stayed on. I tried it right away with my iPhone. Success! He stormed. It also started working on a different outlet. So I give it 3 stars because it still doesn't sit on the same level and the initial difficulties made me doubt its reliability. Update: I checked my phone charger last night and I was right. now completely failed. So I am now giving it zero (0) stars due to its unreliability in performance.
