Pendant lights look really cool. I put them on a bare bulb to see what they looked like before installing them. I like the light effect. I reluctantly decided to return them for two reasons. First, the glass is quite thin and feels fragile. Because I was planning on putting them in the kitchen, I knew I needed to wash them regularly, not just dust them, and I can foresee the event of chipping or breakage. Second, they don't give much light except from below. The shade itself blocks good light so I didn't trust them to light the kitchen the way I wanted. To be honest that might not have been a problem since they were supposed to be hanging over the island, but I didn't want to install them only to find out they were. Even if the price was tempting.
