Review on 📸 Canon PowerShot ELPH 110 HS Digital Camera - 16.1 MP CMOS, 5x Optical Zoom, 24mm Wide-Angle Lens, 1080p Full HD Video Recording (Green) (Previous Model) by Ronald Howlett

When I saw an optical zoom camera that fits in a shirt pocket at a local store, I came home and checked out Revain. The Canon ELPH110HS received high praise and a relatively low price ($140). I tried. I'll keep it for occasional use due to its compact size, but it won't replace my Nikon S8200 (now $210). The ELPH110HS can satisfy you if you are not satisfied with the price, size or weight and want something better than your phone's camera and video. . However, Nikon's image quality is noticeably better than that of the ELPH110HS. I tested both cameras by photographing a red apple on a shiny blue plate. I've tried auto, closeup and landscape in natural daylight with flash. In any case, colors and depth of field were significantly better than with the Nikon S8200. In low light, the Nikon S8200 saves faster to the SD card and the ELPH110HS has a longer shutter lag. To Canon's credit, the images aren't bad, they just aren't very good without editing. On the other hand, the ELPH110HS captured good video in low light (I don't record video, so video quality isn't important to me). Uploading to Picasa was an easy task - I didn't need to install any Canon software. Canon's stabilization system performed better than that of the S8200.
