I have a neurological problem that causes the skin on my forearms to become hypersensitive (e.g. 24/7 sunburn). Therefore, wearing a tracker on the wrist is usually not possible. This strap works great with my Fitbit Inspire 2. Despite the mesh between the tracker and my skin, it has no problem detecting my heartbeat, especially when the Fitbit is on the inside of my ankle. It also records my steps more accurately compared to my wrist. UPDATE: I've since bought 2 more of these. All items have been hand washed several times and air dried. They hold up very well and are even softer. The clasps are very secure.
