Review on Sulky 88203 Iron Transfer Black Sewing by Summer Hendricks

These markers work great! I've seen in reviews that some people think they're dry and can't get them to work. You will need to refill the marker from time to time by pressing the nib up and down on the paper to pump ink to the nib. I have used several brands of transfer pens and so far these are the best available. They're hard to see on a black shirt, but they're enough to convey and complete your project. They work great on other colored fabrics! I'm still trying to figure out which colored pencil looks best on black. I often use them to transfer designs that I create and print on the computer and then trace onto the back (unless you're printing in reverse) to iron onto a shirt. I then use puffy fabric paint to embellish my design. I gave 5 stars because it's the best option. I've had my pens for at least 5 years, maybe longer, and they still work. I will be buying another set soon because mine is finally out and I don't want to be without it because I never know when I might need it! I've made many t-shirts over the years and just made 50 t-shirts for my work. The arms go far! Another tip: If you transfer the same drawing multiple times, you can transfer about 3 times if you don't make the image too dark to use up ink. I try to transfer the image slightly as I iron, just enough to see so I can reuse my transfer design so I don't have to go back and forth when making multiple shirts. I don't usually write reviews, but when I saw other people write reviews and get a sense of why they didn't work for them, I felt like I had to say something. I hope my review was helpful!
