I made the mistake of using carpet powder to freshen up the room and using my Dyson to vacuum. Unfortunately, combined with Dyson's heat, the powder melted and clogged my bullet filter. This overheated the motor which meant my Dyson wouldn't start until I changed the filter. Luckily I found this affordable replacement and it worked after replacing my old original filter. I didn't need a canister filter, but I liked the idea of having a backup if I'm cleaning another one and it takes a few days to dry. Good buy!
