Review on 🔧 Mityvac MV6835 Brake and Clutch Bleeding Kit - Premium Pneumatic Air Operated, Variable Control Thumb Throttle, Quick Connect Coupler, 1.9 Quart Reservoir by David Nelson

Excellent brake pressure bleed valve with various master cylinder adapters for almost all domestic and import cars, but needs some attention. Components and fittings should be checked and require minor repairs. The large storage tank intake system is designed to service multiple domestic and foreign vehicles, but is ideal for home use. We usually fill half a tank or 2 liters per car. Higher quality components than the Motive Power Brake Bleed Kit with quick disconnects and does not require the purchase of separate master cylinder adapters. The quick release valve is extremely practical and prevents brake fluid from splashing. The Motive Products 1820 Brake Fluid Kit works great with this system. Don't forget to clean up the spilled fluid and use a small pick to remove any remaining brake fluid from the caliper bleed valve. The gauge on the dispenser didn't read 15 psi. Duplicate all connections and dry test before filling the dispenser with fresh brake fluid. - The master cylinder adapter popped out of the Mercedes while bleeding the brakes and had to flush the brake fluid out of the engine bay. The adapter cap washer was loose and did not seal properly compared to the European themed product adapter - Yellow rubberized particles found in the brake fluid reservoir filter. More loose particles found in Mityvac liquid tank cap. Check out the last photo. Be sure to inspect the cover, clean and remove any dried yellow grease particles and apply a suitable light coat of silicone based rubber gasket grease. 4 liters of fresh fluid wasted but safety is paramount and you don't want to use contaminated brake fluid with loose particles. Quick disconnects are not universal and will not mate with standard 1/4 NPT male connectors. We tried our Motive product's master cylinder adapters with 1/4 NPT male connectors. The male 1/4 NPT quick disconnect will not hold tight and will pop open twice during the brake flushing process. Both of our Motive brake bleeder products and master cylinder adapters lasted almost 15 years with little to no maintenance, but Mityvac required quick maintenance before use and continued operation. in need of repair due to non-standard quick release adapters and loose covers. We could replace any custom quick disconnects with 1/4 NPT universal males, allowing us to use any of our existing Motive Product master cylinder adapters. We were able to service our vehicles with a Mityvac MV6840 Hydraulic Brake Pressure Bleeding System with a small TLC. On several vehicles we had to replace the brake lines, bleed the ABS and then pressurize with a Mityvac MV6840 to solve the sponge brake pedal issue. an air pressure leak and many other Revain buyers expressed the same concerns. Manufacturing needs to address these issues and we have successfully used the Mityvac MV7300 and MV7201 liquid vacuums in our shop and at home.
