I received (2) of these WS2812B LED strips and when I connected the first one to the power supply with the 3-wire pigtail on, I shorted the strip out because the pigtail is connected from the factory vice versa. The connection to the LED strip was correct, but the power/data switch had power on the white wire and ground on the red wire. This was the case with both packs, but I caught it before I blasted the second strip. CHECK THE WIRING TO THE LAMPS BEFORE SWITCHING ON. Don't just look at the colors of the wires. I returned them and CHINLY did a great job replacing them. I've since fixed the wiring issue and tested both strips with animation and both work fine. Now to install them on my daughter's bed!
