I received (2) of these WS2812B LED strips and when I connected the first one to the power supply with the 3 wire pigtail provided I shorted the strip out as the pigtail is factory reverse was relocated. The connection to the LED strip was correct, but the power/data switch had power on the white wire and ground on the red wire. They're interesting in that the plastic wrapper that protects them from moisture isn't taped at all. This is just a shell that when cut you can remove the LED strip from. That's fine for my purposes, but if I were to cut and splice a lot of them in a waterproof setup, that would be something to consider.
