Review on 🔬 Filtrete Advanced Microbial Filtration 3US PF01 by Mark Bennett

Had a filter system before and it worked great. I received the batch from the 2nd time, the union nut and sleeve were defective. The installation took a long time because the union nut kept slipping. As a result, everything worked and worked perfectly for 2 days. Checked several times during those 2 days to ensure nothing is leaking from the compression nut area. One night the pipe next to the coupler suddenly shut off overnight causing the entire kitchen floor, basement, utility room and water heater in the utility room to become flooded and water damaged. In the end the whole floor was torn down, dried the floor, ceiling and walls in the basement, replaced cabinets, new floor, new ceiling, new carpet, lots of money wasted (although the insurance covered the damage). Not to mention the added psychological trauma during self-isolation with the cracked floor and non-functioning kitchen. I will never risk buying this or any other product again. It would be better to install an expensive whole house filtration system. Big mistake.
