A few years ago, at very slow speed, I hit a small pothole on a slippery rock (looking for the entrance to the trail). After climbing the bars, I overcame the fall with my arms outstretched (stupid, huh?) and sprained my wrist pretty badly. That kept me off the bike for a few days. (as a daily rider it takes a lot of time!) Finally healed enough to sit back down. The problem was that the wrist was so weak that it took very little to keep hurting it. So I went in search of wrist guards and bought them. You did it! Gave enough support to my wrist for it to heal (although I still have a small issue with it, a BIG sprain!). Now I NEVER ride without them, nor without my helmet! Left a few on the bumper when I lost them; ordered another pair the same evening. I tend to hone my skills and bite the dust fairly regularly and I haven't injured my wrist since. (I'm old too! 60) So I highly recommend them as a tool to keep you in the saddle!
