Review on Hobart H112216 R01 1 Pound Plastic Electrode by Nick Garrett

I recently bought a 120v arc welder to fix broken patio furniture. Have these electrodes along with 6013 1/16" electrodes from Harbor Freight (HF) purchased. Tried some fillet welds with 1/8" flat steel for practice/fun after refurbishing furniture. The HF electrodes worked very well (at least as well as you'd expect from a home welder), didn't stick and had good penetration "These electrodes were harder to work with. They were harder to start and jammed much more often, even at the highest amp settings. That's never happened with HF electrodes. Considering these sticks are about 4 times more expensive per pound than HF -Rods, I doubt I would buy them again.
