The thickness of the audio cable.

The first time I got this initial advice on cable thickness, I've bought other 3.5's that I've used and over 1000 reviews, basically all 5 out of 5. This cable is twice as thick though. So plug them in and the first thing I said was they sound different so I keep listening and separate the instruments that weren't there before and they sounded clearer. I am using the same Pioneer headphones as with the other cable. I have to say, quite unexpectedly, I didn't expect any difference.
