These are my computer speakers in a small room. These speakers shine when paired with an app like Boom 3D for Mac. Bass is a little lacking at low volumes, but my goodness, they sing when you crank them up a little. If I continue to sit, the sound is very rich and full. Bass extends well below the advertised 60Hz into the 40Hz range - which was a big surprise. Their greatest strength is the stereo image - a very pleasantly soft and detailed sound that is almost three-dimensional. Volume 60-70% - The red LED on the back is very bright (can be pasted over) Overall, I'm very impressed. For so much money - amazing! I'm planning to run a cable from one of the speakers to a powered subwoofer and will report back with an update.
