What a strange coincidence. The monitor is not bad. However, the UPS I connect it to does something strange. Other devices will work with it, but not all, including the monitor. And the output is only 96VAC. I bypassed the UPS and voila, it's working again. Sorry ViewSonic, I should have checked all the options first before rating it so badly. I said earlier: I bought this monitor on March 19, 2013 and it was delivered shortly thereafter. I was amazed at the color balance and clarity. It's because my favorite monitor. But now it's dead. No power indicator, no OSD. Nothing at all. I'll have to see what factory warranty it comes with. Will probably just order a Samsung 27 and hope this one comes back in a couple of weeks.
