Thing is awesome! I used it for the first time yesterday to cook steaks for dinner. If you can't tell when a steak is cooked to your liking, I highly recommend this appliance. It takes all the guesswork out of it, telling you when to turn, etc. My very picky husband was very impressed! I was so excited to be using it again that I decided to grill up some shrimp and scallops to season with alfredo for dinner. Prepared perfectly again. I saw a tip on a YouTube video to line the bottom of the pan with aluminum foil for easier cleaning (the heating mechanism is on the top, not the bottom). I am very thankful for this tip because it made cleaning VERY easy. I'm really looking forward to trying out the features of the air fryer and dehydrator! To update! Since then I've tried the air fryer a few times. I love him too. I think what I like best is that it's longer than your standard deep fryer so I feel like I can spread things like french fries on it. So far I've cooked these little sweet potato puffs in it and "boiled" some eggs lol. I didn't even know you could "boil" eggs in a deep fryer, but the idea popped into my head and I googled it. Works surprisingly well! Not sure if it's any more or less easy than regular simmering, but I just thought it was awesome haha! I'll try to update my results as soon as they come up 🙂 I know it's only been a few days but I'm still obsessed!
