I have bought this tea glass twice already. It's the right proportions and keeps tea hot enough for a glass, which isn't really a thermos. The first jar had an issue with the tape in the lid falling out. The company immediately replaced it. But the tea strainer is a failure. It's too flat vertically to make the most of the tee. In other words, the infuser does not sit deep enough in the glass to properly brew the tea leaves. The company tried to fix this between the first iteration of this glass and the one I just recently bought. They changed the edge on the inside of the glass to allow the strainer to sit a little lower. But that's not enough. Water literally has to be poured to the brim to cover the dry tea. Then, as the tea swells, the top of the glass comes out of the water. In my first version of the jar I used a #S304 screen I got from another jar - this is one of the screens that is more vertical. It didn't fit perfectly, but it was good enough. After the redesign, the #S304 stainless steel screens no longer fit on the rim. They fall to the bottom and then float when you add water. So I hang it by the handle of a teaspoon while it brews. A better solution would be if the glass just came with a more functional strainer! UPDATE 2021: downgraded to 3 stars. The bamboo on the second jar I bought is discoloring ugly and warping after 5 months of use. We'll try another brand.
