My small brush for doing the fine detail work was frayed when I opened the package and the details aren't as clean and it doesn't look very nice. There are also spots on the canvas that don't have numbers on them. Thankfully it comes with a piece of paper for a guide as well, so I could get the numbers off of there. Some of my lines are cut off.

It’s beautiful, clear, the paint quality is awesome, the canvas quality is awesome.The creasing from the folded canvas does naturally begin to flatten out as you paint and leave the canvas out to dry so getting it perfectly flat with an iron before painting isn’t really necessary.The only negative is the paint brushes that come with this kit are pretty cheap and don’t last long at all so I would highly recommend purchasing another set of detail paint brushes for this…

I bought this a year ago and just now got around to painting it. I really enjoy it, but I’m frustrated because I don’t feel there’s enough paint provided, the thickness and sheerness of each color varies greatly from color to color, and worst of all #20 and #22 needed for the sky and lake and other parts of the painting is completely dried out to the point it was solid and I could peel it from the container. I do a lot of these paint by numbers and usually love them, but this one was a little frustrating. There is a ton of various shades of yellow for this picture, and the numbers and lines are so dark I had to paint each yellow 3-4 times to cover them up. I had to constantly refer back to the printed drawing to double check the colors because so many of the yellows are so similar, and it became more of a chore than a relaxing stress reliever. This PBN is very detailed and the final result is pleasing. Some of the paints needed multiple coats to cover the number and lines - the greens and pinks were especially sheer. I really enjoyed this painting and am happy with the finished piece.

At first I was very intimidated by the numbered canvas. Some of the areas to paint are so small. Once I got started though it soon became completely absorbing and the size of the areas did not seem to be any issue. I haven't completed the whole painting yet, it is time consuming, but I love how it looks so far. I have had a great time working on the painting.

The colors are not true to life. A lot of the birds are weird shades compared to what the bird really looks like.The trees need so additions to look real. Mostly if you do it exactly like the instructions you will get something similar to the picture but the picture is way better than what you will get following the directions. You have to exercise your artistic talents to get anything better that just okay.

This will be beautiful when done. It isn't mine, I am an artist and I introduced paint by numbers to my mom and her friend. I get for them for them and they love them. These are not the paint by numbers I remember as a kid. They come out beautifully and make great gifts for the ladies to share with thier friends and family.

This is advertised for beginners. I think it is more complicated than that. The numbers printed on the canvas are difficult to see and some of the areas are very small.

This is a good large paint by numbers with a nice variety of colors and shows a pretty decent amount of detail even for having to be constrained by the format of numbered painting "zones". Only gave 4 stars because 2 of the paints were dried out upon opening.

I gave this as a gift to my husband. He likes it well enough, but it is a bigger commitment than we thought. The paint spaces are teeny, so I would definitely not recommend this for a child. There are also a few spots that aren’t numbered (the trees and such) and it isn’t clear what he should paint them. If it came with instructions, it would be a five star product for adults, however I would say 2-3 stars for kids.

This was a gift for mothers day. The contents had a burlap type canvas, paint & brushes. It was also to help pass the time for my mom who during this pandemic is not able to play bingo or go bowling.

I bought this for my brother. He took up painting by number. He said he could actually see the numbers and was very happy with it. Thumbs up!
