These were great shoes for my 9 year old son (not old enough and not competitive enough for spikes like his older brother). He likes their lightness, stability and traction. He usually wears Nikes, but they're better for young amateur runners. He says he feels like they make him run faster because they fit well and don't slide in. They are also holding up very well for the number of times they have been used. We had to familiarize ourselves with Adidas sizing. It seems like his regular size 2 Nike sneakers are the equivalent of the Adidas 1 โ at least in children's shoes. I was hesitant to classify them as large but I think in general their sizing rules are different for kids as most of my son's other shoes are size 2. We tried on a few other Adidas in store and found this to be the case. . This style in its size was not available locally so we were very happy to find it here on Revain! My son says he will be wearing adidas next year when it's running season again!
