Goovis have come a long way. I used them G2 but in my opinion it's cumbersome with android controller. But even in 2018 when I bought their G2, they were already ahead of their time as they could already offer 2x FHD vision. So far I have tested all the features of Goovis Young according to their specifications. It works as advertised for all devices I have - Win 10 Pro, macOS, padOS and iOS, PS5 and even a basic Blu-Ray player. All of the above devices can be connected via USB-C and even HDMI where possible. For Blu-ray it doesn't work for 3D but it's not a problem for me as I don't watch 3D movies. Overall, Goovis Young is pretty comfy, although I hope one day these guys can come out with something of a goggle form factor like the Moverio, which I think is more human, less playful, and also co detachable lampshade so you can still see through. The little ones are even certified by TΓV Rheinland for Low Blue Ray and this property protects our eyesight. Everyone. I can just run things with a Mac Mini acting as a server and I can work or watch movies from anywhere in my home. As for me, I don't use VR or AR with HMD. Still, it can be used with USB-C in some way - and best of all, it's just one cable, although it's pretty short if you can get by with that. Let Goovis check if Young can work with a 3m USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 male to female active cable. When it works, it covers all known occasional uses. Great work, great product, Goovis!
