Review on USB Microphone with Real-time Monitoring πŸŽ™οΈ for Gaming, Streaming and Voice Recording on Laptop/PC/Phone by Vera Hernandez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Decent USB mic with some software limitations

β€’ Nicely packaged β€’ Sturdy and heavy base β€’ Comes with an extra cable β—‹ They seem to be of good quality β€’ USB C β—‹ The connector on the base of the mic The microphone works very well, I'm not worried about it breaking β€’ There could be better drivers β—‹ Can't change sample rate Β§ Some applications allow or don't work with the associated high sample rate β€’ Volume and monitor controls may have a notch in the middle position, and other volume controls might help. β€’ It's a little quiet for a condenser mic, especially when the desk mount/stand is removed, and distorts if you get too close. β—‹ It's a bit boomy, nothing terrible, but it sounds darker than I expected. β—‹ It would be difficult to use for instrument tracking as it doesn't really have the gain needed to lift the guitar off the table. β€’ I really think everything Since it runs through the standard audio driver, it could have had better software. β—‹ Too bad, because the packaging, design and feel are very good. β€’ The box advertises that it can record music with it, it would be difficult with less power. I tried recording an acoustic guitar with it, it worked fine and ended up sounding about as good as my Shure sm57.

Pros
  • There's something in there
