At twice the price this antenna is no better than the tried and true RCA amps I use around the house which are only rated for 30 miles versus Mohu's 60 mile rating. As far as I know, reality shows that the ratings should be changed. After reading all the specs and reviews I thought it would be way better than what I had. It is not! I wasted over an hour moving this weak little sucker everywhere to get the channels I'm used to. It wasn't worth the trouble and I had hell putting the original antenna back in place after deciding to send Mohu back. The curved design, the rear brace and the fact that the coaxial cable exits directly from the back (requires an included 90° connector!) limit its positioning. The only good thing was that the amp had a USB connector for power, which made it easy to connect power and input cables to the back of my TiVo, and the coax cable that came with it was long enough. It also has a USB to AC cell phone adapter which I was just about to reuse. But don't let these small plus points tempt you into buying this dog. Save and find something better and cheaper! Believe what you want, but this is not my first rodeo! I'm sure this antenna will work if you are in a flat area on the outskirts of a town near an antenna farm. But if that were the case, you still wouldn't need anything 60 mile legal!
