I've been looking for a corner cart for a while and have been hesitant to spend the same amount of money on a mental cart with much worse reviews let alone a cart. over $120 with good reviews. Baskets or shelves are made of plastic with small holes to allow water to drain easily and not pool. It can take 20-30 minutes to assemble the unit depending on how you want your shelves, which may require more than one attempt to find the correct shelf spacing. The plastic shelves are held in place by small rubber rings that fit snugly into the shelf's opening, creating the perfect amount of friction to keep them in place. I use big bottles of Tresemme shampoo and conditioner and my only shelf doesn't even tip down with it. All in all, save yourself the headache of buying a "stainless" crappy metal stretch cart or even breaking a tidy sum on an expensive one and get this one. The tie bar itself is metal, but the shelves are nice plastic. For the money I really couldn't have asked for anything better. Don't bother with Lowe's, Home Depot, Target etc as this one is worth the wait for delivery, not the instant pleasure of buying an awful item from the store and realizing it doesn't work anyway and you should buy this after the process elimination.
