Gas gauge isn't reliable

UPDATE:After a few more cycles of the battery, the gas gauge started working fine, but then stopped again. Sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Always reports that the battery is empty, so makes my computer immediately hibernate when I unplug power. The computer will let me wake it up again, but then I have no idea how much battery I have left because it always says 0%. I tried calibration method of fully discharging, leaving it for hours, fully charging, and leaving it for hours, but it didn't help.
