The bottom of the item has spring loaded handles which should slide when pulled back to be able to be mounted on a bike rack. Only one side worked. I tried my best to get the other side to move, but it didn't move. Of course, since it won't work without a lot of effort, I decided to return it before I use the tool and break it. Seller: Bargain Pedaler charges a restocking and return shipping fee. Beware their product was defective and I ended up paying to purchase a defective item at a discount pedal shop.
