I am new to shrimp farming and I was worried that the shrimp would not have enough food, especially for babies, so I bought it. The shrimp are crazy about him! I was also worried about my Nerite snails, I wanted to grow some biofilm quickly because I was concerned that with my shrimp and snails in my 5 gallon and my 2 gallon betta and snail tank it would quickly run out. The 2 gallon tank is a temporary tank with cycles and filters, but it runs out of algae very quickly and helps feed the nerites while my 6 gallon tank is on a cycle. It's a very fine powder, so you have to be careful when opening it. I would suggest putting some paper underneath when you first open it because mine spilled a bit right after first opening, although it even had powder all over the bottle never opened or sealed that's how good the powder is . You just put a small amount in the tank and it lands all over the tank without you having to pre-mix it. Don't worry if you see powder on the water surface, it will fall off sooner or later.
