I bought this for my daughter to wear under her Halloween costume (short sleeve princess dress) so she doesn't get too cold but I wanted it to match her skin tone exactly as opposed to white or pink swimsuits. It turned out great! She found it very comfortable to wear several times under her suit. She is 4 years old, weighs 41 pounds and is 41 inches (3 feet 5 inches) tall. I bought size X-Small (4-6 years old) and it fits her well, but if your child is taller you can go up a size.
