The HD picture quality is amazing, even in night vision mode. I had an issue with the camera making all sorts of internal weird noises, but it's fine now. I'm not sure why it stopped though. The only issue I had with this camera was that it didn't come with a power plug, only the cable and SD card that I bought separately were incompatible. I have a second camera and again there is no plug to charge from the cable. I'm using an old USB connector that I had. So far the solar panel is not charging the camera properly, but that may be because the weather has been cloudy and rainy since we connected the camera. I need to buy a new USB connector and another SD card. In general this is a good camera. Edit to add: the camera still makes noise. Lots of interference, static and mechanical noise. It's hard to describe. However, this may be due to other power cables (Christmas decorations) nearby. The camera also likes to move by itself. I know it sounds crazy and a little bit scary because of the noises I'm hearing, but it moves on its own. No, nobody else has access to remote camera rotation, only me. I haven't installed a new camera yet, so I can't compare them now.
