I recently got eczema on my palms. These gloves were extremely helpful in protecting overly sensitive skin, keeping ointments and moisturizers in place, and preventing scratches while sleeping. They wash well and stay soft. I let them air dry so they don't shrink in the dryer. I have large hands and thin wrists, these gloves fit me very well. The elasticated wrist may seem light to some, but for me that's an advantage. The thumb is designed to provide a good fit and dexterity. I can use touchscreens while wearing them; Seams can be a bit unwieldy for texting and emailing. When cooking or wet working, I wear nitrile gloves over these cotton gloves. They are very comfortable, protect and accelerate the healing process. I am so happy with them that I am ordering another set to cover my washing/drying time.
