Bought for my wife to have lunch with her. The microwave ovens are crowded and too far to walk to as she only has 30 minutes for lunch. I pour hot water for ten minutes while I cook her dinner. I heat her vegetables or meat or whatever she takes and fill another bowl with rice from the rice cooker. After 10 minutes I pour the still hot water into my coffee cup. I put her warm food in a container and close the lid. At noon she opens the container with the still warm rice. She opens the container and the food is cold. The rice container is a simple vacuum flask. I will test your container to see how long it holds hot water. I'll use a thermometer and watch, starting with fresh water each time. I will post the results here in an updated review.
