The inside smells of food. "Blows up " food when container is cold

Bought 3 jars of food from them, two different types. This food smelled bad inside, the middle plastic lid got stuck and wouldn't open after less than 5 days of use. I struggled to open it, I cook fresh every day and after 5-6 hours it smells really bad. It doesn't seal without the middle plastic piece, it stays open a bit and food spills out without it. It also "explodes" when the food splits

Pros
  • Generates trust
Cons
  • Vulgarity

This is a good buy!

Does not leak. I added very hot water, took the temp, then let it steep for an hour and then again. The photo shows the pace. I checked it a third time (no picture) and it just failed. I took him to work 4 days, 2 days stew, 1 day potato soup and 1 day chicken soup. Every day my food was at a good temperature. There is. I pour boiling water over it, let it set, and then add hot food. This happens around 7am and I usually have lunch around 1pm. The size (16 ounces) is perfect, I can eat straight

Pros
  • Practical item

Keeps Soup Hot - Storage & Organization

I bought this container to take my soup to work for lunch so it's the only thing I've tried in it, but it works great for that purpose. I usually take my lunch break after about 5 hours of work, so the soup is usually in the container about 5.5-6 hours before eating, and the soup is still warm when I open the container. I've noticed that the longer you put it in hot water, the warmer it stays. Leave the hot water (I heat and use boiling water in a kettle) in there for at least 10 minutes, if…

  • It's OK!

Attractive and lightweight, non-insulating

If I had to rate the looks it would be 5 stars. It is very light and packs well. The spoon isn't my favorite as it's difficult to lay out and messy to put away after use, but it's handy. However, the main purpose of purchasing this container is for insulation. He doesn't isolate. This is disappointing compared to my Contigo mug, which keeps liquids hot for 5+ hours and cold for 10+ hours. I put warm food inside after pouring boiling water over it. After a 2 hour drive on a hot day, the food was

Keeps my dinner hot!

Every day I have to pack lunch for work. I get tired of salads and cold dinners, especially in the winter (which isn't too bad here in Southern California). So I got this little thermos. It holds just the right amount of soup, lentils or other hot lunch item - about 2 cups. On the company's recommendation, I pour in hot or boiling water and leave for a few minutes, drain the water, and then add food. When I sit down to eat, the food is still hot! What I don't like is the folding spoon that…

Doesn't retain heat as long as advertised

Bought for my wife to have lunch with her. The microwave ovens are crowded and too far to walk to as she only has 30 minutes for lunch. I pour hot water for ten minutes while I cook her dinner. I heat her vegetables or meat or whatever she takes and fill another bowl with rice from the rice cooker. After 10 minutes I pour the still hot water into my coffee cup. I put her warm food in a container and close the lid. At noon she opens the container with the still warm rice. She opens the container

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Functionality

Received this yesterday so wasn't on maiden flight yet. However, I tested it today, mainly because I wanted to test it before actually using it. (Who wants a cold soup?) 😣 Anyway, I heated 2 cups of water in 3 minutes and then poured it into an empty thermos. I heated 2 more cups of water for 3 minutes, then poured out the first batch of water, poured in the second batch and sealed. I came back 5 hours later and tested the water; it was still hot! I even poured it completely into a cold mug to

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
