I am a small adult, child size 14 usually fits me best. I ordered the XL (14-16) C9 2" woven jogging shorts and found them to be large enough. The outer shorts are cute and sit just below my natural waist and down to my leg just above mid-thigh (my inseam is 29.5).".) My only criticism is the inner pants. I've never had running tights that were so bulky in the crotch. Looking at them and my other shorts, there is definitely more ruffles and threads in this area. After wearing it on some, I can ignore it for a few minutes, I just hope it doesn't annoy me for long stretches.
