Works great as a belt. Not sure about other reviews but it works great on my wrangler jeans without having to remove the buckle. The extra Velcro end is easy to use and I'm not sure why people struggle with it. The belt is thinner than my leather gun belt and works much better as it's very stiff. The only reason for two stars is the lack of quality control on the buckle itself. Both of the protrusions that lock the buckle have visible tears along the spine. Since these are small devices that can withstand 9kN ONLY on the buckle, I find it hard to believe they can withstand such loads. I know it's not a rigger strap and I wouldn't use it for any purpose other than a counter clockwise gun strap or to keep my shorts in place as it only has a thin velcro strap that probably holds up to 100 Pound could tear. Do your research to determine which belt is right for your needs. There are other strap fusion options that perform other functions and do not have the additional Velcro.
