Used this at night to listen to my meditations to fall asleep. Since the headphones do not fit in the ear and the fabric of the headband is soft, they are very comfortable to wear in bed. You can still hear things around you (for those of you with kids!). But my husband couldn't hear the music while I was lying next to him. Also, I used it for over a week without having to charge it. For the gym, the headband stays on your head well during your workout. Be aware of your surroundings when using these headphones.
