Replaced my old LED groups, two out of four failed due to poor quality driver components (full phase rectifier, small, works at around 110 % of design power). I have a home control system of my own design over a Z-wave mesh and the headlights work with IR sensors and other states according to software rules. All four turn on at the same time, all four turn on for example when there is motion within 75 feet of the front of my house, dusk → dawn, and stay on until there's no motion for half an hour or so. . This is necessary for energy saving, security, reliability and comfort. On average, the cluster works about 3-4 hours a day, sometimes more when the weather is very busy or I turn on the light manually. If they survive their design lives, even if one of them hits 80% of rated usage, I'll be a very happy old man.
