Whilst the design is ok they are 'very thin' and ended up being heavier than I expected for the 5 ti class. I was planning on replacing my 6" 7075 aluminum bars until I can get my hands on them. I went back and chose Ruta Locura carbon bars, which are 6.5" in diameter x .250 and weigh .01 ounces each .MSR makes a similar 6" carbon core stem which is aluminum tubing with an internal carbon stem that is probably a little more durable which is all they need for their 'plastic head'. RL - amazing update one another discouraging encounter: Revain is REMOVING "country of origin" from "product description" to protect "made in China" products which I think are mostly poor quality so more research is needed to "sort out" "fake"!
