These are fantastically light, perfectly machined titanium tent poles. I bought these to replace the "free" frames and straps that came with the tarp and rain cover I recently purchased. They are stronger and lighter than aluminum and cheap metal pegs and take up less space in your duffel bags. Sharp enough to dig into the ground but rounded enough not to damage pockets or backpacks. I will buy more!

Whilst the design is ok they are 'very thin' and ended up being heavier than I expected for the 5 ti class. I was planning on replacing my 6" 7075 aluminum bars until I can get my hands on them. I went back and chose Ruta Locura carbon bars, which are 6.5" in diameter x .250 and weigh .01 ounces each .MSR makes a similar 6" carbon core stem which is aluminum tubing with an internal carbon stem that is probably a little more durable which is all they need for their 'plastic head'. Trying to make my climbing/travel gear 'perfect' I bought these as they are made of durable lightweight titanium. I use a tent with trekking poles (duplex prongs) and wanted the stakes to go into the frozen hard ground easily as all my other aluminum tripod stakes break when I try to install or remove them.
