The length corresponds to that indicated, the cable works. The cable itself also seems to be of very poor quality. It doesn't feel like there's any material between the inner pairs and the outer insulation (you can pinch the cable and feel the smaller wires inside). The inner wires easily lose their shape, resulting in twisting and breaking of the outer insulation. I did an outdoor install by routing the cable around the door frames and baseboard, but I suspect it will fall apart if you have to fish the wall. It works with a cheap connection cable, but I would recommend a different product for a permanent installation. TLDR: You get what you pay for, and this cable was cheap.
