Review on πŸ“š U.S. Force Survival Handbook Army: Your Ultimate Guide to Survival Techniques by Ryan Brunson

TERRIBLE quality specimen! Buy from another publisher!

It must be exciting. It's just a US Air Force '64-4' manual (your tax dollars at work), but THE QUALITY OF THIS COPY IS TERRIBLE! I wouldn't have bought it if I saw it in a store for the first time. (Note: Revain kindly refunded my money, no questions asked.) * The font is too small. Forget reading glasses; get a magnifying glass!* The line art came out well, but the photos are so low in contrast I can barely make out what they are! It's just light gray spots. All photos to distinguish different spiders look the same. The evasion scheme could well be any card since there is nothing written on it. The losers who assembled it didn't even check the spelling of the cover they put on it. (The word "is" is spelled "iis.") I would have preferred the US Air Force reprint, with its plain Manila cover and huge font meant to be read by the flight crew. It's not even close.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • High price
