Failed to connect on first attempt to install and problem was not covered in troubleshooting guide and device reset instructions were not covered does not apply because the description of the dashboard web interface as described in the guide does not match the actual user interface. When I try to connect to an OBI device on my local network, I get a username and password that isn't mentioned in the instructions, and none of the credential combinations I've configured work, so I can't do anything that way can troubleshoot. After searching the web I finally found the username and password "admin/admin" somewhere else, but the guide doesn't mention that it's even locked. Even when I was able to log in, the "network settings" I was looking for didn't exist, and I was only able to set the one thing they offer (manual DNS) by figuring out the clunky interface myself - again something unrelated , which was described in one of the 4 "guides" on their site that claim to offer "troubleshooting" but this is clearly for demonstration only as there is no way that the only option given to you is is to try and fix Why isn't your device registering because it needs static DNS? Ridiculous. Also resetting to the factor was useless, which by the way also wasn't as described in the instructions, but I found a paperclip hole to do it by hand. The big problem is that the only tech support seems to need an OBI work number to call them so I can't speak to anyone as I don't have an ONI work number! You can not do it. Even when I try to make test calls to the setup (which doesn't initiate a working setup as there is only a timeout, even though all the test call features work fine, the audio quality is awful as it's terribly overloaded, so feedback CRAZY even with the volume up my phone is at the minimum this unit is a disaster their support site just doesn't describe their current software accurately as key features aren't available so I can't even reset a factor so it's basically a piece of junk unsupported, which goes back to Revain.
