Review on 🔌 BTECH Programming Cable - FTDI USB Cable for UV-25X2, UV-25X4, UV-50X2 by Jim Martin

This worked great with my UV-25X4. When I got the UV-25X4 I really thought the same cable would be compatible with older radios. It's not obvious. I went ahead and manually programmed some repeaters and simplex frequencies. (It seems that programming a new radio is a bit easier, but I also have, I believe, 6 of several variants of other Baofeng and BTECH radios. But it didn't take me long to order a cable to match. It (the new cable) Windows 10 was automatically recognized without having to mess around with a driver. This one was perfect and never had any problems. I tried it (this new cable) with some old Baofeng and it didn't work (I just thought i'd give it a try) You can also leave it plugged in (at least when receiving and seems fine when sending (simplex or duplex))
