I bought this for a 1/8 to 1/4 adapter to use with a portable speaker. The first test seemed good. It was a simple "123 test test". Not more than a minute, but immediately noticed nothing. The next day we tried karaoke. There was some scratching noise on the first song and then it stopped completely on the second song. The plug was loose to the touch and when I unplugged it the entire 1/8 plug was broken into pieces. Something is stuck in the jack and the jack now no longer fits the microphone port on my speaker.
